Original ’98

This was the second vehicle I had come to own. I had been following the development of the ‘Concept 1’ since 1994 by reading ‘VW Trends’ magazine in the Homeland grocery store in Pauls Valley, OK. When they finally announced the production of the ‘New Beetle’ my parents and I were able to get on a waiting list through ‘Cable Volkswagen’ in Oklahoma City.
